Qualification for the admission:
The qualification for the admission is different for Government and private polytechnic. Private polytechnic educational qualification is different from the Government Polytechnic. Details procedure is here.
For the Male student: The educational qualification of the male is GPA 3.50. GPA 3.00 must in Mathematics/ Higher Mathematics is SSC or equivalent exam in 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2022.
For Female student: Minimum GPA is 3.00 with 3.00 in Mathematics/ Higher Mathematics in SSC/ Dakhil/ SSC Vocational or equivalent exam in 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2022.
For Non- Government (private) Polytechnic Institute:
The student who passing SSC or equivalent exam with minimum GPA 2.00 can admit the Non- Government Polytechnic Institute from 2008-2018.
Polytechnic Admission 2022 Application process:
The polytechnic admission application process is very simple which is describing below. First, the candidate will submit their application fee and admission fee through Teletalk prepaid SIM. The amount of the fee is 150.00 TK (One hundred and fifty Taka only). Then go to bteb.gov.bd website. Select Diploma admission and fill the form.
Fees submit procedure through Teletalk:
Firs, recharge minimum 160 TK your Teletalk mobile operator. Go to message through Teletalk mobile operator. And then write the message which is given below.
BTAD <space> Frist three letters of Board <space> SSC Exam Roll Number <space> SSC Passing Year <space> SSC Registration Number <space> Shift letter and finally send this SMS to 16222.

For 1st shift write A. B for 2nd shist. And letter C for both shifts.
The return SMS with a PIN comes in few moments. Then the student will be sent an SMS which is given below.
BTAD <space> YES <space> PIN <space> Applicant Mobile Number and send this SMS to 16222.
